DIY: Painted Dinosaur Model

It's a new year and I'm still hung up in spraying most things in gold. I *think* it goes well with the color of the year, so it's all fine and dandy right? This was an easy and fun project for me. But I can't find a place to display it yet. Anyway, read on friends! :)

All I used was the model and some spray paint. I love these things, I wish they'd make more varieties.

It wasn't all that complicated to build, there were instructions!

Before I assembled it I gave the sheets two or so coats of spray paint (front and back).

And then I set about assembling it. Afterwards I gave it a few more coats of spray paint to coat the sides of the pieces that weren't painted initially.

And there you have it! I like it gold, as opposed to natural. Goes well with dark furniture, and black. And if ever I get tired of the color? Well, it's easy to spray paint it again, right? Maybe white next time. Let's see. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

  1. It's so pretty when it's gold!

    Angeline, your gold-adoring adorer

    1. I know. But it might be prettier in a neon color, although that wouldn't really suit my room right now. Hehe :D

  2. I was wondering which brand of spray paint this is?

    1. Thank you so much for the Reply and happy valentine's day :3
      (lifesaver really) ^W^
